Introduction - Essentials

These features are provided by Blade Flyer essentials:

  • a telecommunicating modular flight control system;
  • a blade hub with default flight control responsibility whose nominal level flight attitude and zero velocity can be perturbed by the flight controller;
  • variable camber as well as variable angle of attack blades with flight control responsibility for lift during both vertical and horizontal flight modes as required by the hub;
  • engines on the blades fueled by the blades and hub under control by the blades;
  • vanes on the engines to keep the engines directed into the airflow during both vertical and horizontal flight, facilitate the transition between flight modes, and provide yaw control during horizontal flight;
