Hub, Blade and Engine - Subsystem Interaction Part 2 |
Blade Computer
Configures blade flaps and slats to effect the lift desired by the Level Flight and Perturbed Flight Computers, instructs Engine Controller Computer to adjust engine thrust to avoid blade stall, and substitutes engine thrust for blade lift as vehicle velocity exceeds rotational velocity.
Engine Controller Computer
Interfaces with standard engine computers to provide thrust demanded by Blade Computer, and synchronizes blade pair engine thrust.
Engine Sensor Computer
Interfaces with standard engine computers or otherwise provides engine parameter data to Level Flight Computer.
Vane Computer
Extends and retracts vane flaps to create the asymmetric drag mandated by the Perturbed Flight Computer for yaw control during conventional flight.
