Flyways

Flyways are invisible freeways in the sky that can be expanded horizontally and vertically to safely accommodate more traffic. Much like packets on the Internet, the traffic on Flyways is controlled by network computers that interact with each other to avoid congestion by rerouting traffic.

Flyway computers bypass the pilot, and act as Blade Flyer Controller Computers using the MAC Address unique to each computer to selectively communicate with the Perturbation Computer of each Blade Flyer entering Flyway airspace by way of long-range Wi-Fi communications.

Vehicles within Flyway airspace are periodically interrogated for the longitude, latitude and altitude of their destination, their current GPS position, direction and velocity and their vehicle performance characteristics, like range and ability to accelerate, decelerate, climb and maneuver, so the Flyway computers can optimally route and position each vehicle in the Flyway, and determine the best course of action in an emergency.

Takeoffs and landings within Flyway airspace can be entirely controlled by Flyway computers, so fully autonomous cargo collection and delivery is possible.
